“ Dana and I were in Franklin and stopped for the first time at Tupelo Honey Restaurant. Wow, how do we describe this Restaurant? Epic, unbelievably Fantastic, worth the drive from anywhere. All the food impeccably prepared. Service was outstanding from the hostess seating us and server Eleanna was flawless in taking care of our table like we were special guest even though they were packed. Then the food was indescribable with just words, yes it was that good. We started with their famous fried green tomatoes panko-crusted fried* green tomatoes, basil, roasted red pepper couis, stone-ground goat cheese grits Wow. Then Dana ordered tupelo's shrimp & grits white gulf shrimp, chorizo pork sausage, peperonata, creole sauce, scallions, stone- ground goat cheese grits Wow. Steven ordered whiskey & onion smash burger two, quarter pound beet patilies, creamy whiskey & onion gravy, cheddar,pickles, potało bun, Wow. Couldn't do desert, way too full. Food was fantastic good. Can't wait to go back. Thank you all. ”

If you want to up that, order the mac-n-cheese waffles with asheville hot fried chicken!! WOW! Game changer. If you are looking for something else, try the cast iron pork! I ordered the shrimp and grits with the sweet potato pancakes and the cereal milk martini (which is a 10/10 martini.!) our server Grace is the best server. So sweet and kind. “ Awesome find! The food is phenomenal. We ordered a mimosa flight. I loved it. Not hubby's thing. More for me. He had the meatloaf with onion rings and cheese grits. The best grits, hands-down. I ordered the whiskey and onion smash burger with the potatoes. The food must had done a number on the hubs. He was talking about the complexities of the flavor...funny...but true. Can't go wrong with their menu. Something for everyone. The atmosphere is southern and modern. Great color palette and spacious. ”

“ For a Saturday morning it we got in right away and the staff was great. Grace, our server, was very kind and helpful. Our order of Chicken and waffles was served quickly and tasted delicious. The best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The iced coffee was phenomenal. ”
“ This place was nothing short of amazing!!! I usually don't post such high praise on first time visits, but there is a first time for everything. We were greeted by a magnificent hostess who later turned out to be the regional manager. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She obviously set the bar high for her servers because they were spot on with their knowledge of the menu and offered some excellent food suggestions for us. We started out with the Brussel sprouts with the red pepper and almond romesco sauce. If you are not a fan of them you will be after you try these trust me. For the entrees, I had the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles and my wife had the Sweet tea chicken sandwich with a side of collards. The chicken sandwich had a sweet tea glaze and a lemon aioli that will have you coming back for seconds. The sweet and spicy chicken on the top of the light and fluffy waffles will have you in heaven from the first bite. I look forward to coming back here REALLY soon. To my fellow veterans and active duty, they offer a military discount for us as well. So to Tupelo Honey I say thank you for your hospitality and great food. See you soon ”
